What is XiltriX Resilience?

XiltriX Resilience is an independent environmental monitoring system for mission critical labs, hospitals and biobanks. Sensors measure each critical device separately from the device's own controller, readings run to monitoring stations that keep working through power and network outages, and a deviation is escalated automatically through your own on-call ladder until somebody acknowledges it. Your team responds to the alarm; the XiltriX 24/7 team keeps the monitoring system itself healthy and supplies the record you hand to an auditor.

Infrastructure

Our own sensors, system and connectivity. Designed and built by us, so there is no gap between the parts. Yours to buy, or to spread monthly through a lease. Requires only an internet connection and a power outlet. No access to your internal IT systems or business network is required.

Intelligence

Continuous monitoring, dashboards, alarm management, reporting and a full audit trail. A yearly agreement, with room to add capabilities as your needs grow.

Care

Implementation, calibration and preventive maintenance, on an hourly basis, plus a battery replacement once every four years. And 24/7 support, included as standard.

Questions people ask

Short answers to the questions that come up in almost every conversation.

What parameters can XiltriX measure?
Temperature from -200 °C to +250 °C, CO₂, O₂, relative humidity, differential pressure, particle counts, liquid nitrogen level, door status, air flow, water conductivity, VOC, H₂O₂ during fumigation, light intensity, shaking motion and mains power. If a parameter carries risk in your process and can be sensed, it can usually be brought into the same system rather than sitting in a separate box with its own alarm.
How often is each sensor read?
Every sensor on the network is read multiple times per minute. The values are stored and compared against the alarm limits set for that specific device, continuously. That is what makes it a real-time system rather than a logger you read afterwards: a deviation is acted on while it is happening.
What happens during a power failure?
Every monitoring station has its own backup battery and monitors mains power as a parameter in its own right. The measurement continues and the alarm chain still works. That is deliberate: a power cut is exactly the moment monitoring matters, and it is exactly when a system without battery backup goes quiet.
Who gets the alarm?
The person on call, according to the schema agreed with you. Only the active on-call user is contacted first; there is no reason to wake a whole team when one person responds. If that person does not respond within the set time, XiltriX escalates automatically to further people, and after that to a different alarm channel altogether.
Is there a person behind the system?
Yes. XiltriX is a service, not a box: the monitoring is backed by our team, and the escalation schema is designed and tuned with you rather than left as a default setting. Responsibility for acting on an alarm in your lab stays with your organisation. What we guarantee is that the alarm reaches someone.
