XiltriX
IVF laboratory workstation with monitored incubators
IVF, ART & fertility

Every stage of the IVF journey, under continuous watch.

Gametes, embryos and cryopreserved samples move through six critical stages. XiltriX maps the whole journey, watches the incubators, CO₂, LN₂ tanks and rooms at every stage, and escalates deviations to your own team before they become losses.

Built for GxP

Protecting what matters most, at every stage.

An IVF laboratory depends on tightly controlled conditions from the first patient sample to long-term cryogenic storage. The sector card below maps the operational journey in six stages: the key processes, the rooms, the equipment that must stay within range, the environmental parameters to watch, the standards that apply, and where XiltriX adds value. It is the same map our engineers use when designing a monitoring system for an IVF lab.

Proven

Proven where embryos are on the line.

Proven since 1987

No customer has lost irreplaceable material because our monitoring failed.

24/7 technical support

The monitoring chain is watched around the clock. Alarms escalate to your own on-call team.

Built for GxP

GMP, ISO 15189 and the EU Tissues and Cells Directive: validated monitoring, audit-ready.

XiltriX detects, alerts and escalates through your own configured on-call contacts. Your team responds to alarms; the XiltriX 24/7 team keeps the monitoring system itself healthy.

FAQ

IVF, ART & fertility: monitoring the whole lab journey

Which parameters must be monitored in an IVF embryology laboratory?

The critical parameters are temperature in CO₂ incubators (37 °C, with a tolerance of about ±0.5 °C), CO₂ concentration (typically 5-6%), O₂ concentration, pH where relevant, laboratory temperature and humidity, particle levels in cleanrooms, and liquid nitrogen level and pressure in cryogenic storage. Door status and power status complete the picture, because a door left open or a power failure can invalidate every other reading.

Which standards and regulations apply to IVF laboratory monitoring?

IVF laboratories typically work to GMP for tissue handling, ISO 15189 for laboratory quality management, the ESHRE good practice guidelines, and the EU Tissues and Cells Directive. Monitoring records should be traceable and audit-ready, with data integrity you can demonstrate during inspections.

How is cryogenic embryo storage in liquid nitrogen monitored?

Independent sensors watch the LN₂ level, pressure and automatic fill cycles of each tank, alongside room conditions, door status and backup power. Monitoring must not rely on the tank's own electronics alone: a closed valve or an empty supply line is exactly the failure an independent system is there to catch, around the clock.

Does XiltriX respond to alarms in our IVF laboratory?

No. XiltriX detects, alerts and escalates through your own configured on-call contacts, and your team decides who responds. The XiltriX 24/7 team is available when the monitoring system itself has a technical issue.
